At the Leadership Initiative for Youth Empowerment (LIFE), we are committed to empowering young Nigerian girls and sexually vulnerable females by promoting equity and social justice through a feminist approach. Our mission is to create opportunities for growth and development, ensuring access to resources that foster their well-being and advancement.

Founded in 2012 by Abiodun Rufus-Unegbu, LIFE was established with a vision to drive positive change by advocating for the rights and inclusion of young people in Nigeria. Guided by the core principles of equity and social justice, we strive to break barriers and create an enabling environment where every girl and vulnerable female can thrive and reach their full potential.
